How the Tournament Works
Our goal with this tournament is to make it competitive, organized, and fun, while ensuring everyone gets plenty of court time.
We start with pool play, where each team plays multiple matches. Based on results, divisions split into:
A Division – higher-performing teams continue together
B Division – teams play against similar calibre
Both A and B play toward their own championships, so every team still has something meaningful to compete for.
We’ll be running:

Women’s & Men’s Intermediate (A & B)

Sunday Mixed Intermediate & Advanced (A & B)
Most teams will play at least 4 matches, with many playing up to 7, depending on division size and results.
Prizes include cash, bar credit, and lesson prizes, plus food, music, and a great social atmosphere.
Tournament Pricing
Each division entry is:
$25 — Invictus Paid Members
$40 — Non-Members
If you’d like to play in an extra division, it’s only: +$10
Important note about Mixed Sunday:
CourtReserve may show $10 beside Mixed divisions. That $10 applies only if you are adding Mixed as your second division.
If Mixed is the only division you’re playing, the cost is the regular:
$25 members / $40 non-members.

Your Pickleball Home in Uvita, Costa Rica
At Invictus Pickleball Club, we want to be more than just a place to play. We're building a full-service pickleball community with everything you need on and off the court, from competitive play, coaching, clinics, tournaments and social events. We will also offer stay and play deals as well as a variety of classes on our yoga deck.
Our facility will feature four covered, lit courts, a spacious A/C lounge with viewing windows, a plunge pool overlooking the courts, full bar and dining, showers and change rooms, and an on-site pro shop. We also have a collection of jungle Cabinas on property for stay and play options.
We are on track to be fully open in November 2025. We hope to be open for gameplay by November 23rd. Two of our courts are already complete, and construction is moving quickly. We will keep people updated on opening dates.

Membership & Pricing
We’re building something a little different here in Uvita. Along with being a local pickleball club, we’ll also host a few pickleball retreats each year (about 3–5 weeks). During those times, retreat guests will have priority play for 3-5 hours each day. The rest of the time, courts will be open for members and drop-ins as usual. Our goal is to create a fair, flexible pricing and membership structure that works for everyone—local players and retreat guests alike. We’re open to different ideas and will test a few options on a trial basis to see what works best for our members. We are happy to offer special introductory pricing.

At Invictus Pickleball Club, we make it easy to play, improve, and compete at your level. Whether you are here for social games, fitness, or serious competition, our leagues, ladders, and drop-in sessions are designed to give you the best pickleball experience in the region.
We offer organized ladder leagues and structured play so you are always matched with players at a similar skill level. This means better rallies, closer games, and more fun on court. For those who prefer flexible play, our drop-in sessions are perfect for meeting new people and enjoying casual matches.
As our community grows, we will introduce interclub matches with nearby clubs, giving you the chance to represent Invictus and test your skills in a new competitive environment. Throughout the year, you can also expect tournaments, themed events, and social competitions designed for all levels.

We use Global Pickleball Network (GPN) to manage player levels and ladder rankings. This system helps us create fair, competitive matchups and track your progress over time.
To join ladders, simply create a free GPN account and connect to Invictus Pickleball Club. Add your DUPR level or self-assessment, and you will be ready to join upcoming ladder leagues and events.
